Customer Service Representative - Billing Specialist

About the role

Healthy Gamer is seeking a proactive Customer Service Representative who will focus on billing inquiries. You will interact with clients via email, chat and other online channels, providing accurate and empathetic support while maintaining detailed records.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries about billing via email, chat, or other electronic means.
• Resolve billing problems and close issues efficiently.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer accounts and interaction logs.
• Process assigned billing tasks to enable general CSRs to meet ticket timelines.
• Manage collections records for delinquent accounts.
• Use knowledge of Healthy Gamer products to answer questions or route them appropriately.
• Partner with the Customer Service Manager on disputed payments and policy updates.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Support peers by sharing best practices and assisting with onboarding of new team members.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of financial or billing experience in a service‑oriented environment.
• 1‑2 years of client‑service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Service‑oriented mindset with strong ability to handle customer grievances.
• Understanding of basic accounting and billing principles.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
