Customer Support Intern – Regional Service Centers

About the role

The Customer Support Intern will work at a Regional Service Centre in Kenya, acting as the first point of contact for customers needing after‑sales assistance such as product repairs and replacements. The role involves intake of faulty units, basic troubleshooting, processing service requests and coordinating movements between the centre and feeder shops.

Key responsibilities

• Serve walk‑in customers, register repair/replacement requests, conduct initial screening and basic troubleshooting, and explain service steps and timelines.
• Receive, tag, and record faulty units from feeder shops, transfer them to technicians, and manage dispatch of repaired units back to shops.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and after‑sales systems, report discrepancies, and ensure compliance with warranty and service procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in customer service, after‑sales, service centre operations or related field.
• Ability to coordinate across functions, manage multiple cases, and meet service timelines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Basic technical knowledge of electrical, electronic and solar products.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
