Dining Room Waitress – Full‑time On‑site

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Dining Room Waitress to join our team at Jumba Ruins Monsoon, a beachside restaurant on the Kenyan coast. This full‑time, on‑site position involves delivering high‑quality service to guests enjoying our fresh seafood and curated wine selection.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus and suggest dishes or wine pairings.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them promptly.
• Address guest requests, concerns or special dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized dining area throughout service.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Experience or knowledge of food & beverage service, preferably in a restaurant setting.
• Basic cooking knowledge is a plus for understanding menu items.
• Ability to work well in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
