Restaurant Waitress

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, professional Restaurant Waitress to join our beachfront venue in Mombasa County. You will be the first point of contact for guests, guiding them through our menu and ensuring a relaxed, memorable dining experience by the sea.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, present menus and take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Serve dishes and drinks, explain menu items and daily specials.
• Maintain clean, organized tables and service areas throughout the shift.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Handle guest questions, concerns and payment processing with professionalism.
• Support a friendly, informal atmosphere that reflects the beachfront setting.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Experience or familiarity with food‑and‑beverage service, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Clear verbal communication skills in English; Swahili or other languages are a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods, carry trays safely and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable in a fast‑paced, informal setting.
