Direct Sales Representative

About the role

The Direct Sales Representative will drive customer acquisition and credit‑card sales for KCB Bank in Nairobi. This full‑time position requires a university degree and at least two years of sales experience, focusing on sourcing leads, guiding applications and ensuring compliance with bank procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing prospective customer leads from referrals, cross‑selling opportunities, bank‑organized activations and provided leads.
• Explaining product features to customers, guiding them through application completion and reviewing documentation for accuracy.
• Authenticating customer details by checking original IDs against copies and forwarding completed applications within 24 hours.
• Prospecting additional bank products, safeguarding customer documents, and forwarding feedback or complaints to the appropriate manager.
• Providing market insights from the field and delivering regular sales reports to leadership.

Required profile

• Graduate of a recognized university.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to meet stringent targets within defined deadlines.
• Passion for delivering quality service.
