About the role
The Driver II will provide safe and efficient vehicular transport services for the Independent Policing Oversight Authority in Nairobi. The role involves routine vehicle checks, ticket management, and ensuring security on and off the road.
Key responsibilities
- Drive authorized organization vehicles and perform routine checks, reporting any malfunctions.
- Maintain movement of work tickets for assigned vehicle(s) and ensure vehicle cleanliness.
- Secure the vehicle, report accidents promptly, and administer first aid when needed.
Required profile
- KCSE mean grade of D (or equivalent) and at least two years proven driving experience.
- Valid driving licence and successful Suitability Trade Test for Drivers.
- First‑Aid Certificate (minimum one week) from a recognized institution.
- Certificate of good conduct and clearance from relevant Kenyan authorities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- First‑Aid response capability.
