Field Operator – TCP/Wireline

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Operator for its TCP/Wireline Services Product Line. The role involves supporting customers on‑site, performing routine and well‑site activities, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of wireline and TCP equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance and operation of wireline winches and surface equipment.
• Rig up and rig down TCP equipment following HSE requirements.
• Prepare equipment and complete Permit to Work documentation before operations.
• Assist in risk assessment preparation and delivery of TCP operations.
• Repair and maintain pressure control equipment under supervision.
• Perform pre‑operational checks on wireline units and associated tools.
• Maintain down‑hole tools and basic well‑head components.
• Prepare operational reports for on‑shore and off‑shore use.

Required profile

• Technical diploma in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in wireline TCP service delivery.
• Proven safety focus and mechanical aptitude.
• Experience working with explosives.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Valid local certifications and medical clearance as required.
