Field Sales Engineer – Nairobi, East Africa

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a motivated Field Sales Engineer to join its Separation Technologies team in Nairobi. You will be responsible for driving sales across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, promoting our Food & Pharma division products and delivering superior customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with external and internal sales teams to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Follow established sales processes to promote Alfa Laval Separation Technologies products.
• Analyse market insights and customer buying behaviour to create sales plans aligned with business targets.
• Generate and convert leads into business opportunities, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
• Conduct regular customer visits, meetings and presentations to understand needs and highlight product value.
• Manage the customer grid and proactive planning using CRM and other tools.
• Prepare competitive quotes that reflect unique selling points and follow up diligently.
• Contribute actively to the Separation Technologies Business Unit and Food & Pharma Division with a team‑spirit mindset.
