Field Sales Representative – Animal Feed

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Salesperson to join Dola Feeds Ltd in Mombasa County. You will drive the sales of our high‑quality animal feed products, building relationships with farmers, distributors and agro‑dealers across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and manage sales of animal feed products, identifying new customers and following up on leads.
• Visit farmers, distributors and agro‑dealers to present product benefits, negotiate prices and terms, and process orders accurately.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, collect customer feedback and share insights with management and technical teams.
• Prepare regular sales reports, meet agreed sales targets, and contribute to promotional activities, field days and training sessions.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience, preferably in agribusiness, animal feeds or fast‑moving consumer goods.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities to engage confidently with farmers and industry stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of livestock production, animal nutrition or agricultural practices and willingness to learn product specifications.
• Good planning, time‑management and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field, travel regularly within Mombasa County and surrounding areas, and thrive in a target‑driven environment.
• Minimum diploma in Sales & Marketing, Agribusiness, Animal Science, Business or related field; a degree is an advantage.
• Prior on‑the‑ground sales experience and familiarity with local agricultural markets in Kenya are highly desirable.
• Valid driving licence or reliable means of field mobility is an added advantage, but not mandatory.
