Field Sales Representative - Mombasa

About the role

Royal Mabati Factory Limited is hiring a Sales Representative for Mombasa. The role drives sales and generates new business through direct interaction with clients in the field, including recruiting Fundis and Agents and maintaining relationships with existing clients to meet sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, conduct field visits, product demonstrations and sales presentations, and follow up on leads and quotations until deals close.
• Maintain accurate sales records and submit weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Build long-term client relationships, handle inquiries and after-sales support, and run client retention and loyalty strategies.
• Identify new market segments, carry out competitor analysis and market intelligence, and take part in trade fairs and exhibitions.
• Educate clients on product features, pricing and benefits, and work with marketing on promotional campaigns.
• Recruit agents and Fundis, visit and develop them in assigned clusters, help them convert leads into sales, and ensure they are well branded and follow the company's selling approach.
• Keep detailed records of sales activities, client visits and pipeline, and support management with forecasting and planning.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in field sales or business development.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven and willing to travel extensively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
