Finance Manager

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a Finance Manager in Mombasa Road. The role oversees the company's financial health through financial planning, reporting, cost control and compliance, giving strategic financial insight to support decision-making and sustainable profitability in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, and provide projections and variance analysis
• Evaluate investment opportunities, run feasibility studies and monitor returns on capital projects
• Oversee cost accounting and product costing, and drive cost reduction while keeping quality
• Manage inventory levels and working capital (receivables, payables, cash)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports in line with accounting standards
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, manage financial risk and coordinate audits with external auditors
• Advise directors and senior management on financial performance and support strategic planning

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
• CPA (K) or ACCA (finalist or fully qualified)
• At least 8 years' finance experience, with significant experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in financial management, cost accounting and budgeting

Required skills

• Strong financial and analytical skills
• Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel
• Leadership, team management and attention to detail
