Finance & Operations Manager – Hotel & Airbnb (Diani)

About the role

Skippers is a boutique coliving and hospitality brand operating in Diani. We are seeking a Finance & Operations Manager who will own both the financial backbone and the day‑to‑day guest experience of our 7‑room property as we expand to 12 rooms.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain rigorous standards for property maintenance, housekeeping and final quality checks.
• Oversee bookkeeping, revenue tracking, booking accuracy and produce streamlined financial reports.
• Manage the full guest journey, from check‑in to resolution of complex issues.
• Drive commercial growth by monitoring occupancy, encouraging guest reviews and identifying revenue opportunities.
• Provide concise, data‑driven updates to the team and flag potential bottlenecks early.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of finance experience; hospitality background is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Hospitality Management, Business or Finance from a top‑tier university with strong academic results.
• KASNEB associate or graduate qualification.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero or QuickBooks accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with data analysis.
• Tech‑savvy – familiarity with AI, APIs and SaaS platforms.
