About the role
The Financial Controller will lead the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, effective cost control, and sound financial planning to support business growth in Mombasa.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, monitor production costs and oversee inventory valuation.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, produce forecasts and provide variance analysis.
- Design and monitor internal controls, ensure compliance with tax laws and coordinate audits.
- Manage cash flow, working capital and treasury activities, including banking relationships.
- Lead, mentor and evaluate the finance and accounting team.
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Required profile
- Minimum 36 months (3 years) of experience in finance or accounting.
- Mid‑level professional with proven ability to manage financial reporting, budgeting and internal controls.

- Competitive salary of KSHS 200,000‑220,000 per month.
