Forklift/Reachtruck Operator

About the role

The operator will safely and efficiently run forklifts and reach trucks to move, load, unload, stack, unstack and store palletised lubricants and other warehouse materials, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and reach trucks in busy warehouse areas, handling loading, off‑loading, movement and storage of goods while maintaining safe speeds and clear visibility.
• Conduct daily pre‑use inspections, report any faults, and ensure equipment is clean and maintained according to company procedures.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards, keep aisles and emergency exits clear, and promptly address spills or unsafe conditions.
• Report near‑misses, accidents, equipment defects and unsafe acts in line with company safety reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum KCSE or equivalent secondary qualification (preferred).
• Valid forklift operator licence or recognised competency qualification as required by Kenyan regulations.
• Documented training and competence in reach‑truck operation.
• Previous experience operating forklifts/reach trucks in a warehouse or industrial environment.
