Front Office Executive

About the role

The Front Office Executive serves as the primary point of contact for patients, visitors, and stakeholders, ensuring professional reception, patient support, and smooth administrative operations in a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, welcome and direct patients, visitors and stakeholders; register new patients and update records in the Hospital Information System (HIS).
• Manage clinic queues, handle calls, emails and walk‑in inquiries, and provide accurate information on services, schedules and billing.
• Generate invoices, receipts and payment confirmations, process payments and support daily cash reconciliation.
• Maintain front‑office registers, appointment logs and daily activity records; prepare handover reports.
• Liaise with clinical, nursing, diagnostics, pharmacy and billing teams to ensure seamless patient care and address concerns.

Required profile

• Diploma in Front Office Administration, Business Administration or a related healthcare field (preferred).
• 1–2 years experience in a hospital or healthcare front‑office role.
• Knowledge of hospital operations, patient flow and basic billing processes.
• Proficiency with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
