Funeral Home Driver (3 Positions)

About the role

We are seeking experienced drivers to join our funeral home team, providing safe and dignified transportation for the deceased, bereaved families, staff, and funeral equipment. The role is full‑time and based in Kabati, Muranga County, with three openings available.

Key responsibilities

• Transport the deceased, families, and funeral equipment to and from funeral sites, hospitals, and related locations, ensuring punctuality.
• Plan efficient travel routes while complying with traffic laws and company procedures.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections, report faults, and maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Assist with loading and unloading caskets and equipment, supporting the funeral team during services.
• Provide compassionate, professional service to bereaved families and represent the funeral home with dignity.
• Maintain accurate logbooks, mileage records, fuel usage, and trip reports.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, defensive driving practices, and confidentiality requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of professional driving experience.
• Valid Kenyan driving licence with a clean record.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professional appearance.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and respect.
