Gardener – Maintain Green Areas at Keda Ceramics

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Gardener to keep the landscaping and green spaces of our factory, office, and dormitory in top condition. The role involves daily care of plants, ensuring a clean, healthy, and attractive environment for staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Water, fertilize, prune, weed and replant flowers, trees, shrubs and other vegetation.
• Monitor and control pests and plant diseases.
• Remove dead branches, fallen leaves and garden waste.
• Maintain and safely use gardening tools and equipment.
• Inspect and upkeep irrigation systems.
• Keep all green areas neat, safe and aesthetically appealing.
• Support additional landscaping and planting projects as needed.
• Perform any other gardening duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum KCSE certificate or equivalent.
• Physical fitness for extended outdoor work.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and attention to cleanliness.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of plant care, irrigation, pruning and pest control.
• Ability to operate and maintain standard gardening tools and equipment.
