Hardware Technician

About the role
We are looking for a proactive Hardware Technician to join our IT support team. The role involves troubleshooting a wide range of devices, deploying hardware, and supporting office infrastructure across multiple operating systems.
Key responsibilities
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Provision, deprovision, and replace corporate devices following established processes.
- Provide day‑to‑day technical support to end users and coordinate with Level 2 support for advanced issues.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot office infrastructure services such as printing, connectivity, voice, and platform services.
- Install, test, and support network devices including switches, routers, access points, firewalls, NAC, DNS, and out‑of‑band equipment.
- Troubleshoot Wi‑Fi and LAN connectivity problems.
- Support smart office technologies like digital signage, sensors, and metering solutions.
- Assist with PABX tasks in coordination with remote support teams.
- Receive, install, test, and troubleshoot printers, AV equipment, and workplace monitors.
- Provide onsite assistance during scheduled maintenance and critical escalations.
- Coordinate with vendors and third‑party providers for equipment repairs and replacements.
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
- Escort authorized third‑party providers to data rooms and secure technical areas.
- Support internal and external audits, compliance activities, and SOX requirements.
Required profile
- Proven experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Ability to coordinate with Level 2 support teams and third‑party vendors.
- Experience installing and maintaining network devices and office infrastructure services.
- Familiarity with smart office technologies and PABX systems.
- Capability to document incidents accurately and support audit and compliance activities.
