HR Business & Reporting Analyst – Data & Analytics

About the role

The HR Business & Reporting Analyst will act as the analytical engine behind Equity Bank’s HR strategy, turning strategic priorities into data‑driven actions. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the role provides people insights that shape budgeting, forecasting, and board reporting across all HR functions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse workforce metrics, headcount trends, recruitment SLAs, turnover and retention, delivering actionable insights rather than static reports.
• Develop predictive models to forecast talent needs, identify risks and optimise resource allocation.
• Automate and enhance HR reporting using Power BI, Excel VBA, Smartsheet and emerging AI/GenAI capabilities.
• Build and maintain predictive HR dashboards that integrate data from HRIS, payroll and workforce systems.
• Track HR budget performance, identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Support OPEX management by analysing cost drivers, forecasting spend and identifying efficiency opportunities.
• Coordinate the annual HR business planning cycle and prepare board‑level reporting packages.
