Human Resource Intern

About the role

SevenTwenty Holdings is seeking a motivated Human Resource Intern to support its HR department in Kiambu. The role offers hands‑on experience in recruitment, employee data management, and HR administration within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment and onboarding tasks such as posting jobs, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and preparing new‑hire paperwork.
• Maintain and update employee records in the HR Information System, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Provide general administrative support, including handling correspondence, assisting with payroll data, and supporting HR projects.
• Help plan and execute employee engagement activities, training sessions, and company events.
• Support policy research, updates, and respond to basic employee queries.

Required profile

• Currently studying for or holding a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management.
• Basic understanding of Kenyan labour laws.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with HRIS software (advantageous).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
