Human Resource Manager

About the role

The Human Resource Manager will lead all HR functions for a hospitality business located on Thika Road. Reporting to senior leadership, you will act as the primary liaison between executives, department heads, and the wider workforce, ensuring HR processes support the hotel’s service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, from identifying staffing needs to interviewing, shortlisting, and issuing contracts.
• Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions in compliance with Kenyan employment law.
• Develop and maintain HR policies, people practices, and performance monitoring systems.
• Provide guidance to department heads on talent management and workforce planning.
• Ensure all HR documentation is up‑to‑date and legally compliant.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher qualification in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to lead HR operations and influence senior stakeholders.
