Industrial Vertical Sales Leader

About the role

The Director of Field Sales – Industrial Vertical leads a team of 10–12 field‑based sales professionals, driving revenue growth, market expansion and strategic customer engagement across industrial markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a geographically dispersed sales team, setting performance expectations and conducting regular reviews.
• Develop and execute the industrial vertical growth strategy targeting manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, data‑center and related sectors.
• Build and manage relationships with distributors, dealers, contractors and other channel partners to align sales initiatives.
• Engage directly with key customers, influencing specifications and driving project wins.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, product development and other functions to support lead generation and customer responsiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, Marketing or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of industrial sales experience and 5+ years of field‑sales leadership managing remote teams.
• Proven track record of growing revenue, influencing specifications and expanding market share.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management.
• Forecasting and territory planning expertise.
• Knowledge of HVAC, building systems and data‑center infrastructure.
• Ability to influence architects, engineers, contractors and end‑users.
