Insurance Sales Agent - Last Expense Insurance

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Insurance Sales Agent in Nairobi. The agent promotes and sells last expense insurance products, identifies new business opportunities and grows the customer portfolio by building strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Sell last expense insurance products and generate leads through proactive sales activities
• Develop strategies to grow the customer portfolio and achieve individual and team sales targets
• Present products and explain their benefits to prospective clients
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, follow up and handle inquiries
• Provide professional advice on insurance products and support customers with policy queries and documentation
• Maintain records of sales activities and client interactions, prepare regular sales reports and complete onboarding processes
• Take part in marketing campaigns and outreach activities, and share market insights with the team

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field
• Proven experience in insurance sales (mandatory)
• Knowledge of life or last expense insurance is an added advantage
• Ability to meet sales targets and manage a sales pipeline
