Insurance Sales Agent (Last Expense)

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Insurance Sales Agent in Nairobi to promote and sell last expense insurance products. The agent identifies new business opportunities, grows the customer portfolio and builds strong relationships with prospective and existing clients while giving professional guidance on insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Sell last expense insurance products and generate leads through proactive sales activities
• Develop strategies to grow the customer portfolio and achieve individual and team sales targets
• Present products and explain their benefits to prospective clients
• Build and maintain client relationships, follow up on them and handle inquiries
• Advise customers on insurance products and support them with policy queries and documentation
• Maintain records of sales activities and client interactions, prepare regular sales reports and complete onboarding processes
• Take part in marketing campaigns and outreach events, and share market insights with the team

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field
• Proven experience in insurance sales (mandatory)
• Knowledge of life or last expense insurance is an added advantage
• Ability to meet sales targets and manage a sales pipeline
