Intake Coordinator – Agricultural Business Development

About the role

The Intake Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for farmers applying for technical assistance and business development funds. Working remotely with occasional in‑person days and annual retreats, the coordinator guides farmers through application, enrollment, and resource allocation while ensuring alignment with Pasa’s programs.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and determine service pathways for farmer applicants, evaluating eligibility for multiple participation stipends.
• Lead business development and planning support, advising on financial planning, brand building, marketing, market access, food safety certifications, and post‑harvest logistics.
• Track farmer progress using internal systems, maintaining clear communication and pragmatic guidance.
• Manage relationships, allocate resources, and follow up on pending items to remove bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with internal program leads to move farmers through application and enrollment processes.
• Ensure compliance with contract parameters and project alignment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of tools and processes.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in agricultural business development, farm financial planning, brand building, marketing, and market expansion.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, certification processes, and post‑harvest handling, storage, and logistics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple farmer projects simultaneously.
