IT Lead / Manager

About the role

The IT Lead/Manager will oversee all technology services for a hospital environment, ensuring reliable deployment, maintenance, and security of IT infrastructure. This role combines hands‑on technical work with leadership of the IT team and coordination with clinical and administrative staff.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and support LAN/WAN networks, remote access, and Internet connectivity.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, virtual machines, desktops, laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, and mobile devices.
• Develop and keep documentation for deployment, installation, and configuration procedures.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and enforce security, backup, and data‑privacy policies.
• Provide daily system monitoring, security monitoring, backup verification, and incident response.
• Lead, mentor, and train the IT Officer and hospital staff on technology use and AI policy compliance.
• Oversee IT budget, resource allocation, and vendor relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing IT operations within a complex environment such as a hospital.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities for junior IT staff.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical users.
• Commitment to security, data‑privacy, and compliance standards.
