IVF Consultant

About the role

Fertility Point is seeking an experienced and compassionate IVF Consultant to join its growing team in Nairobi. The role involves providing comprehensive fertility consultations, managing IVF treatment cycles, performing reproductive procedures, and delivering exceptional patient care within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct fertility consultations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Manage IVF/ICSI treatment cycles from initial consultation through embryo transfer.
• Perform ultrasound monitoring and fertility‑related procedures.
• Carry out laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures independently.
• Counsel patients on treatment options and expected outcomes.
• Collaborate with embryologists, nursing staff, and other specialists to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities.

Required profile

• MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Fellowship or certification in Reproductive Medicine or IVF.
• Valid registration and practicing license.
• 4–6 years of experience managing IVF procedures and fertility consultations.
• Experience performing laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures without supervision.
• Board certification or eligibility in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (preferred).
• Strong communication, counselling, and patient management skills.
