About the role
The Junior Actuarial Analyst will support the Life actuarial function in delivering accurate valuations, IFRS 17 and solvency reporting, and financial modelling, providing technical insight for management decisions and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with internal actuarial liability valuations, IFRS 17 valuations and embedded value calculations using Prophet and Excel.
- Support profitability and experience analysis, solvency stress testing and capital management.
- Contribute to financial modelling of business scenarios and reinsurance optimisation.
- Maintain Life actuarial systems such as Prophet, Thought Express and OIPA.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science.
- 2‑5 years of relevant actuarial technical experience.
- Progress in actuarial examinations.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Prophet actuarial software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Data programming and handling capabilities.
