Knowledge Management Consultant – Gender Equality (Remote, 4.5 months)

About the role

This consultancy aims to strengthen UNICEF’s knowledge management on gender equality and support the implementation of the UGEAP 2026–2029. The consultant will develop, curate and disseminate gender‑related knowledge products, facilitate knowledge exchange and capacity building, and promote mutual learning across UNICEF.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage gender‑related knowledge products and digital repositories using SharePoint/Teamsite.
• Facilitate webinars, training sessions and knowledge‑exchange activities to build capacity within the Gender Equality Team and across UNICEF.
• Curate, organize and disseminate evidence, tools and good practices to improve visibility and use of gender‑related resources.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in knowledge management, digital collaboration platforms or communications, preferably within the UN or international development context.
• Bachelor’s degree in Knowledge Management, Information Science, Communications, International Development or a related field; an advanced degree is an asset.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); working knowledge of French and/or Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
• Strong information architecture and content design capabilities.
• Experience organizing and delivering webinars and training sessions.
• Excellent written communication skills.
