About the role

The University seeks a Lecturer Grade 6a to teach and conduct research in Geotechnical and Structural Engineering. The position is based in Westlands, Kenya, and requires a strong academic background and professional registration.

Required profile

Earned PhD in Civil Engineering or an equivalent recognised qualification, and registration with the Engineers Board of Kenya with a valid membership certificate.
Alternatively, a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with at least three years of research, teaching, or industry experience, plus a minimum of 24 publication points (at least 16 from refereed scholarly journals), and registration with the Engineers Board of Kenya.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity.
