Legal Associate – Kisumu Branch

About the role

The Kisumu branch of Triple A Advocates is seeking a motivated Legal Associate to join its litigation team. This full‑time position will support the Principal Advocate in court appearances, case management and office operations.

Key responsibilities

• Attend court sessions on behalf of or alongside the Principal Advocate.
• Assist in the preparation, filing and management of court documents.
• Draft pleadings, legal correspondence and other required documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare concise summaries.
• Oversee day‑to‑day running of the Kisumu office, including administrative and clerical tasks.
• Prepare and submit status reports to management while maintaining confidentiality and high ethical standards.

Required profile

• Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a valid practicing certificate.
• Minimum two (2) years post‑admission experience in litigation and conveyancing.
• Based in Kisumu and able to work independently.
• Strong organizational, communication and administrative abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with CTS portal.
• Familiarity with Ardhisasa system.
• Proficiency in using eCitizen portals for legal processes.
