Loans & Collections Officer Internship

About the role

This one‑month internship is designed for candidates who want hands‑on experience in loan disbursement and collections within the banking and finance sector. Successful interns may be offered a full‑time position as a Loans & Collections Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Generate revenue by meeting monthly disbursement targets through customer acquisition, field outreach, site visits and onboarding.
• Assess and process loan applications while clearly explaining product terms.
• Maintain high‑quality client relationships to encourage repeat business and portfolio growth.
• Achieve individual and team targets for new customers, disbursements, collection rates and overall portfolio performance.
• Promote ethical lending practices and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Drive high collection rates and minimize portfolio at‑risk through proactive follow‑up and relationship management.

Required profile

• At least a Diploma in any field.
• Ability to work under the supervision of the Branch Manager.
• Willingness to commit to a one‑month structured internship.
