Marketer

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Marketer based in Ruiru. The role combines marketing and brand promotion with lead generation, customer engagement and digital marketing, and is paid KShs 40,000 plus commission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run marketing strategies, coordinate campaigns and activations, and conduct market research on customer needs, trends and competitors.
• Identify new business opportunities, generate and qualify leads, follow up with prospects and support the sales team in meeting targets.
• Build relationships with existing and potential customers, respond to enquiries and encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Help manage social media, create content, monitor engagement and feedback, and track digital campaign performance.
• Monitor competitor products, pricing and promotions, and give insights to improve marketing strategy.
• Prepare regular reports, keep customer and prospect databases updated, and use Microsoft Office for reports and presentations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
• Previous experience in marketing, sales, digital marketing or customer engagement.
• Good communication, negotiation and persuasion skills, and strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and target-oriented, able to work independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of social media and digital marketing platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Organisational and time-management skills.
