Marketing and Communications Associate

About the role

The Marketing & Communications Associate at Tatu City will lead the conception and execution of integrated marketing and communications campaigns for both Tatu City and its parent, Rendeavour. This strategic position works closely with a digital marketer, designer, events coordinator, researcher and CRM technologist to strengthen brand positioning and support sales efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication, stakeholder and media‑relations strategies to support sales campaigns.
• Generate, analyse and manage media and influencer leads for brand building and stakeholder engagement.
• Project Tatu City and Rendeavour branding consistently across all channels and marketing activities.
• Support multi‑stakeholder events (public, client, media, government) and manage corporate communication assets such as newsletters, press releases and media coverage.
• Design and execute digital communication and marketing strategies, including video and photography production.
• Analyse consumer behaviour, define customer personas and tailor messaging strategies.
• Oversee branding materials, marketing collateral and Kenya CSR strategy as a member of the Rendeavour CSR Committee.
• Handle media relations, crisis communications and department budgeting.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field from a reputable university.
• Minimum 10 years of data‑driven consumer marketing, communications or branding experience.
• Strong research, analytical and communication abilities.
• Proven editorial, planning, branding and digital communications expertise.
• Knowledge of multi‑channel marketing processes and the Kenyan media landscape.
• Experience in the real‑estate or construction sector is highly desirable.
