Mass Tort & Product Liability Associate

About the role

A national law firm is looking for a 4th‑5th year associate to join its Mass Tort & Product Liability practice. The role offers the chance to work on sophisticated, high‑exposure litigation matters within a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the defence of mass tort and product liability matters through all phases of litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and other substantive legal filings.
• Conduct legal research and analyse complex litigation issues.
• Assist with discovery strategy and case management responsibilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues on multi‑party litigation matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients and litigation teams to develop practical solutions.
• Contribute to trial preparation and other pre‑trial activities.

Required profile

• 4th‑5th year associate with general litigation experience.
• Exposure to mass tort and product liability litigation preferred.
• Insurance defence or construction litigation experience a plus.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong writing and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrated commitment to client service.
• Florida Bar admission preferred.
