Medical Officer

About the role

The Medical Officer will deliver high‑quality health and wellness services to patients and their families, ensuring evidence‑based clinical care and continuous improvement in patient safety and experience. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities within a busy private hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations, diagnose and treat patients according to clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing teams to develop treatment plans and coordinate specialist referrals.
• Provide preventive and promotive wellness education and counseling to patients and families.
• Manage inpatient care through regular ward rounds, patient reviews, and documentation of care.
• Perform medical and surgical procedures within training and skill level, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, CME, and outreach activities.

Required skills

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Current certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Current certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
