Medical Sales Representative

About the role

The Medical Sales Representative will promote and sell pharmaceutical products, medical devices, and related healthcare services to doctors, hospitals and clinics in Nairobi and surrounding areas. The role blends sales expertise with a solid understanding of medical terminology to build lasting relationships and drive product adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Present and detail medical products to healthcare professionals.
• Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with doctors, pharmacists and hospital staff.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets through strategic planning and territory management.
• Monitor competitor activity and stay informed on industry trends.
• Provide product education, training and after‑sales support to clients.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience in medical or pharmaceutical sales.
• Strong understanding of healthcare products and terminology.
• Proven ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships.
• Resilient attitude with the capacity to handle rejection.
• Effective time‑management and territory‑planning skills.
