Mid Level Data Scientist

About the role

The Mid Level Data Scientist will apply data mining, statistical analysis and machine‑learning techniques to large structured and unstructured data sets. Working closely with clients and cross‑functional teams, you will turn raw data into actionable insights that support strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and prepare data for modelling, ensuring datasets align with organisational goals.
• Perform data pre‑processing, transformation, normalisation and feature engineering.
• Apply advanced analytics and mining techniques to assess data validity and generate insights.
• Design and implement statistical, simulation and predictive models to solve business problems.
• Code, test and maintain scientific models and algorithms, monitoring performance and accuracy.
• Communicate findings and visualisations to stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds.
• Develop and optimise automation and predictive‑modelling workflows.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data science or analytics at a mid‑level capacity.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting technical results to non‑technical audiences.
