Motor Vehicle Sales Agent

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Motor Vehicle Sales Agent based at Off Enterprise Road, Nairobi. The role combines client-facing sales with support for the sales team, including follow-up on transactions, coordination with customers and liaison with asset finance firms. The salary is a commission of 35% on net sales.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the sales team by managing schedules and distributing sales documentation.
• Follow up each sales transaction to avoid delays and speed up delivery of units to customers.
• Respond calmly and friendly to online and telephone queries.
• Liaise with other departments and customers so that services are delivered within prescribed time limits, and work with the sales team to assess service delivery progress.
• Prepare and present reports on departmental progress and areas needing improvement.
• Liaise with asset finance firms to ensure prompt release letters and disbursement of finance amounts.
• Contact interested clients and search for them in the field, locally and abroad.
• Pursue contracts for vehicle supply to businesses, government agencies and private establishments.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve sales efficiency and increase revenue.
• Meet customers, identify their needs and help them choose a unit that fits their specifications.
• Oversee order processing to ensure timely delivery and set sales objectives and action plans.

Required profile

• Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, Business Management or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in sales, business development or customer relationship management.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Demonstrated experience in vehicle sales, fleet sales or B2B sales.
• Experience prospecting and developing new customers through field visits, referrals, networking, digital platforms and other channels.
