Night Manager

About the role

The Night Manager acts as the Property Manager on Duty, overseeing all hotel operations during the overnight shift. This role ensures the highest standards of hospitality and service are maintained while addressing guest and property issues.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with operational guidelines and ensure staff adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment and manage period‑end inventories.
• Review financial statements, sales reports and performance data to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Assist in resolving guest issues and support the Guest Relations team.
• Oversee cash handling procedures, monitor chargebacks, rebates and ensure invoices are kept under 60 days.
• Manage employee hours, attendance, and payroll processing.
• Promote safety programs, teamwork, and employee morale.
• Support supervisors with performance reviews, counseling and emergency procedure training.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma with 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to handle guest and property issues, ensure compliance with operational standards, and support profitability goals.
