Nursery Worker

About the role
We are looking for a motivated Nursery Worker to join our team at Four Crosses Nursery in Powys. You will help grow and maintain high‑quality nursery stock in an outdoor, hands‑on environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with planting, caring for and maintaining a variety of nursery plants.
- Prepare plants for dispatch, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Support day‑to‑day nursery operations as part of a collaborative team.
- Perform general housekeeping tasks, keeping workspaces clean and organised.
Required profile
- Enthusiasm for horticulture; previous experience is a plus but not essential.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Positive attitude and good teamwork skills.
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of plant care and handling.
What we offer
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.
- Regular daytime hours, Monday‑Friday 7:30 am‑4:00 pm, with potential overtime during peak seasons.
- Supportive, friendly work environment with opportunities to develop horticultural skills.
