Online Journalism Teacher (Part‑time)

About the role

Crimson Global Academy is seeking passionate educators to deliver live, high‑quality journalism lessons to a diverse, international student body. This part‑time, remote position offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on the next generation of writers and reporters.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging live journalism lessons tailored to high‑school students (Grades 9‑12).
• Utilise a variety of digital tools and teaching strategies to create an interactive online classroom.
• Assess student progress, provide targeted feedback, and adapt instruction to ensure strong learning outcomes.
• Develop and manage course schedules, homework, assessments, and educational resources.
• Maintain an organised Canvas classroom with assignments and materials for easy student access.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of high‑school teaching experience (tutoring does not count).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Journalism, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and the CGA team.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for technology‑enabled education.
• Knowledge of the US high‑school curriculum and related external examinations.
