Outside Sales Representative

About the role

The Chef's Warehouse is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to act as the face of the company, delivering exceptional service to chefs, restaurateurs, caterers, hotels and retail establishments. You will travel within an assigned territory, build relationships, and grow revenue by promoting premium specialty ingredients.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business and expand existing accounts to meet sales targets.
• Identify and compile prospective customer lists from trade shows, directories, industry publications and online sources.
• Travel throughout the territory to meet customers, present product samples and catalogs, and secure orders.
• Prepare quotes, credit terms and contracts for approved orders.
• Maintain accurate order timelines and follow‑up to ensure timely delivery.

• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently while traveling frequently.
