Part-time English Teacher – Kabupaten Tana Toraja

About the role

Ruangguru’s Akademia program is looking for enthusiastic part‑time English teachers to join its English Academy in Kabupaten Tana Toraja. You will deliver live English lessons to students of various ages and support their overall learning journey.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English classes in‑person across multiple education levels.
• Provide coaching, act as a buddy and role model for other Master Teachers, and share best teaching practices.
• Collaborate with Student Advisors to consult with students and parents, recommend suitable learning paths, and maintain engagement for course renewals.
• Run Homework Clinics to help students overcome academic challenges.
• Participate in trial classes, meet minimum session quotas, and work with regional teams on educational initiatives.
• Maintain strong relationships with branch staff and stakeholders to ensure smooth class operations.
• Develop teaching materials and assignments that align with the curriculum and improve learning quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) in a relevant field.
• Experience teaching very young learners is a plus.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to try new teaching methods.
• Willingness to teach at the selected Ruangguru English Academy branch.
