Part-time Sempoa Teacher – Tana Toraja

About the role

Ruangguru’s Akademia program is looking for a motivated part‑time Master Teacher to deliver English lessons to students of various ages in Tana Toraja. You will join a collaborative community of educators, support student progress, and help shape the learning experience at the English Academy.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English classes directly to students across multiple grade levels.
• Provide coaching, mentorship and role‑model support to fellow Master Teachers under the guidance of the Academic Team.
• Conduct joint consultations with students or parents alongside a Student Advisor to recommend suitable learning pathways and maintain engagement for renewal.
• Run Homework Clinic sessions to address academic challenges and offer targeted solutions.
• Participate in trial classes, share best practices with regional teams, and contribute to broader educational initiatives.
• Meet the minimum required number of teaching and trial sessions.
• Maintain strong relationships with branch staff and stakeholders to ensure smooth class operations.
• Develop learning materials and assignments that align with the curriculum and enhance student outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) in a field relevant to the subject taught.
• Experience teaching very young learners is a plus.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to try new teaching methods.
• Availability to teach at the selected Ruangguru English Academy branch.
