About the role

Holy Cross is seeking a part‑time Mathematics teacher to deliver the Cambridge International A Level (9709) curriculum to Year 13 students. The position starts in September 2026 and involves teaching bright, disciplined learners in a small‑class environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver 9 hours of mathematics instruction per week across three teaching days (e.g., Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
• Prepare lesson materials, assignments and assessments aligned with the Cambridge A Level specifications.
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback and support individual learning needs.
• Maintain a disciplined classroom atmosphere and uphold school policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching A‑Level mathematics, preferably Cambridge International (9709).
• Ability to engage high‑achieving Year 13 students in a rigorous academic setting.
• Strong organisational skills and commitment to a part‑time schedule.
