PE & History Teacher (Pearson Edexcel)

About the role
The International School (Pearson Edexcel) is seeking a dynamic teacher to deliver Physical Education and History to secondary students. You will create engaging lessons, support student wellbeing, and contribute to the school’s co‑curricular life.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver PE and History lessons aligned with the IGCSE Cambridge/Pearson Edexcel curriculum.
- Organise and supervise sporting events, competitions and related activities.
- Assess student performance, monitor progress and prepare learners for examinations.
- Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork and discipline within the classroom and on the field.
- Participate in school events, co‑curricular programmes and uphold child protection standards.
Required profile
- Degree or Diploma in Education.
- Minimum three (3) years of teaching experience, preferably with IGCSE curriculum.
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in Kenya.
- Clean child protection record.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage classroom dynamics.
Required skills
- ICT proficiency.
