Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing activities for our hospitality operations in Nakuru. The role involves ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services while maintaining cost efficiency and high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with hospitality needs.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms.
• Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition to purchase order and receipt.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and plan purchases.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 2‑3 years of procurement experience, preferably in the hospitality sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on cost control.
• High integrity and ethical conduct.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Understanding of inventory control principles.
