Product Manager – Motor Bikes & Smartphones

About the role

The Motor Bikes & Smartphone Product Manager will own the performance of Majibu Africa's motor bike and smartphone product lines, driving sales growth, market competitiveness and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor sales, pricing, profitability and market trends for both product lines and recommend improvements.
• Develop and maintain product specifications, pricing structures and accurate product information for the sales team.
• Work with field sales teams to achieve monthly and quarterly targets, identify under‑performing areas and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular market research, track competitor activity and provide intelligence to management.
• Collaborate with finance to review pricing, margins and the impact of promotions on profitability.
• Maintain relationships with dealers, suppliers and distributors, supporting negotiations and resolving supply issues.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports covering units sold, revenue, gross margin and other KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in product management, sales or business development, preferably in automotive, telecommunications or consumer electronics.
• Experience with field sales and distribution management is an advantage.
