Project Officer

About the role

Zetech University is hiring a Project Officer in Westlands, Nairobi. The role supports research and project implementation through data management, analysis and reporting, and coordinates project activities so that outputs and research deliverables are tracked, documented and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Support project planning, implementation tracking and coordination of activities and deliverables.
• Conduct literature reviews and help develop research tools and protocols.
• Transcribe interviews and focus group discussions.
• Clean, organise, code and manage qualitative and quantitative data.
• Analyse, interpret and synthesise data findings.
• Contribute to donor reports, research reports, case studies, presentations, publications and other knowledge products.
• Maintain project trackers and follow up information from project staff, consultants and partners.
• Support the organisation and documentation of project meetings and research activities.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Masters degree in research, social sciences, business, development studies, project management or another relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience in research, transcription, data analysis and report writing.
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.
